As a young child I delighted in the garden - the flowers, colours, scents, shadows, sounds of water and the music of birds. My mother was a good gardener and always managed to create oases wherever we lived. In 1999 I enrolled at the Lifestyle school of garden design and studied all aspects of landscaping and horticulture ending up designing two show gardens in 2001 and 2002. As I had to work full-time gardening became a hobby and a part-time career implementing mainly small gardens over the years.
